St Pius X is recognised by the Melbourne University as a Professional Learning Community. As a result of this accolade St Pius X was invited to join UMNoS in 2017.
What is UMNoS?
The University of Melbourne created a collaborative partnership for Australian schools to learn from each other and to work together with University of Melbourne staff and international researchers on strategies to improve student learning(UMNoS). The Network of Schools offers a framework for achieving school goals and enhancing teacher capacity.
The purpose of the Network is to collectively impact on improving the learning outcomes and experiences of students, through a structured program that focuses on teaching and learning, and to inform, build and use the evidence base of the University of Melbourne.
